# Build your first Workflow in Cassidy

> Create a repeatable Cassidy Workflow by choosing a Trigger, adding Actions, connecting inputs and outputs, and testing the final result.

Turn a recurring process into a reliable automation that follows the same steps every time.

[Build your first Workflow in Cassidy](https://www.loom.com/embed/0cb2adea8d2e420bbd92564412b380d5)

## What you'll learn

* How Workflow Copilot builds a first draft from a plain-language description
* How a Trigger starts a [Workflow](/workflows/overview.md) and Actions complete each step
* How variables pass information between the Trigger and Actions
* How to add approval, test results, publish, review runs, and restore previous versions

## Put it into practice

**1. Create the Workflow**

Describe a repeatable process to **Workflow Copilot**, start from a template, import a Workflow, or build from scratch.

**2. Connect each step**

Configure the Trigger and Actions. Insert variables wherever a later Action needs information from the Trigger or an earlier Action.

**3. Test and publish**

Add approval before consequential Actions, test with sample or past integration data, and review each result. Publish the Workflow and verify it in **Run history**.
